Gillian's approach is Person Centred and Integrative which means that she will use different methods of therapy according to the individual needs of clients. She believes in creating a new therapy for each client, as each client is a unique individual with unique thoughts, feelings and problems. A note from Gillian.....

" During an initial consultation we will discuss what your concerns are, your expectations of counselling and if together we will be able to form a therapeutic relationship. We will discuss the 'counselling contract' and what you can expect from me as the counsellor and some guidelines for you as my client.

It is quite natural to feel a little anxious and nervous about an initial meet but my aim is to try to make you feel relaxed and comfortable as quickly as possible.

Most of us need help with a problem or issue at some stage in our life and I understand how hard it is to admit that and then seek out the help. Maybe now it is your time...... I look forward to hearing from you."
